I am a self taught sewer. Lots, lots, lots, and LOTS of trial and error. And many hours looking at tutorials on pinterest and youtube. But in the past 5 years I've really come a LONG way, and I've had a great support system along the way!
Now at this point in my "career" if I can call it that, I've started to get some inquiries about lessons. And why not? I'm not hiding my background, I know most machines, and I can walk someone through all the simple steps!
I've had a few and I love them! Some are strict stutdent-teacher lessons. We go over the machine, different buttons and techniques. And of course still sew a complete outfit.
Here's some pictures from one of my lessons, she made the cutest Cinderella inspired dress. After she went home she also busted out an Aurora, Elsa, and Buzz Lightyear dress!
Beautiful Elsa inspired dress ... she even added a sheer cape! |
Buzz Lightyear! I love when little girls wear more than princess! |
And other lessons have been more of a sew-a-long! I love it! Its a chance to help someone see that they have the skills to make sure clothes too!
Here's some pictures from my last sew along lesson ... she made a cute Dancer Reese Dress and I made a Pink and Gray Reese Dress.
First half of a cute Reese Dress Lesson ... love this pattern! |
Final dress ... SO cute! And her Little looked even cuter in it! |

I have another 2 lessons coming up and one is another new design! I can't wait!
Remember ...
