It's Never Goodbye ...

In the Military life we have to say "goodbye" to a lot more and a lot more often then the average person. We move, others move, family deploys, etc. Although we are fortunate to know that it isn't a final "goodbye", some where down the road we know this life will bring us back together again!

But one of the traditions when it comes to these farewells is to give a parting gift. TH was VERY honored to be apart of two this past week!

I'm not going to lie, they were a PAIN IN MY BOOTIE! The EGA alone took an hour and a half to stitch out. And that was on the highest speed! And of course everything had to me spaced correctly, sized right, and centered! Doing all of that in multiple hoops was very tricky!

It took me two different times for both sizes to get it right! First one was either off center ...

And on one I had completely finished, just need to cut away some threads and stablizer, instead I cut a hole in the flag!

Stayed up until 1 am starting over and trying to finish as much as I could. Started on the last EGA first thing the next morning, and of course ran out of thread!

Needless to say it was stressful and down to the wire! But they were finished and presented onto time to two great Marines.

Thank you so very much for letting me be a part of such an amazing tradition and special event! Good luck Marines, I know our families paths will cross again!!
